    New Digi Cam! :D

Today my dad and I went running around before they go to MI (They're leaving me and the pups with Lauren while they go up there for a week)

I guess this is sort of like, and exchange for me not going to MI with them, a new digi cam! The only reason I can't go is because no one has room for both dogs and us to stay up there.... they said I could go, if I left the dogs with my sister.. but there's absolutely no way possible of me leaving the dogs behind... or with my sister. It's not that I don't trust her as a person.. just not with MY babies. I'd be worried sick. And I really thought about it, and thought about who and where we could leave them, so it's not just my sister... it's just not possible for me.

Anyways, today we got a new digital camera on the way to my sister's apartment. (She wanted to see the dogs)

Best Buy is on the way, and I told my dad what kind I wanted and he went in and got it. This time he got a 4 year warrenty as well.

It's a Canon PowerShot A80, basically the same thing as my old one, just higher megapixels.

And of course I have pictures.. they're nothing special so unless you want to be bored (more than you already are), you can exit now. =P

    The first picture I took.

    Getting treats from my sister

    Happy boy..

My sister told me to take pictures of him with her bear.... don't ask.. lol

    Got anything in there?

Playing keep away with the Tennis ball

    Passing it off to Simba

We also went to a bead shop today. They had a cupon that they sent my mom, in the mail for her birthday (July 18th)
It was $20 worth of beads for $10... which normally, buying these would be very expensive. the new ones are in red...

I have some more here, if you want to bore yourself more.... =P

Oh yeah, I walked with my sister to get her mail, and we brought Nala long. As we were walking out, some lady was walking in with her laundry. she bent down and over her laundry basket and puckered up to Nala. Either she's a complete IDIOT or very trusting, but she's lucky I didn't have Simba. Nala of course, just sniffed her mouth with wiggles and tail wags... she saves kisses for special people.

Congratulations on your new camera, Kay!!!! The pictures are terrific! The one I have been using is a Canon A300 and I really like it. I would like to have a bigger memory card, though. Have no idea how much that costs. But it has been fun having my own camera to use, when I want it. Of course, most of my pictures have been bird related, lately, but I'll get some puppy pictures soon.

Nice pictures! I like the first one of Nala!

Logan - what size is your card? We have a 256 one I believe and it was...about $120 Canadian.

-thank you Poppy for the avatar.

The A80 is a great camera, Kay, congratulations!

I love that first pic of Nala. She doesn't look quite sure what she's supposed to do. "Should I smile or should I look serious. What is that thing she's pointing at me? Doesn't look like the old clicker box."

    Thanks everyone.

    Audrey -- It's 4.0 MP.

Anna -- I'm glad too. I seriously almost died without it only for a few days... the dogs kept doing things, and i'd run to get my camera, then be dissapointed when I remembered it was broke LOL.

Logan -- I have no problem with memory cards, LOL.. I have about 5 of them, all hold over or close to 300 pics. I was very pleased when I opened the box up and found a 32MB card instead of a 16MB that came with the A60.

Debbie -- LOL... That made me giggle. Thanks!

Ash -- i'm not sure. I haven't taken any pictures at night with it. It does fairly good without any lighting (with the flash on)

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
