    How does Ripley fit?

I walked into the sunroom and saw this. I don't see how Ripley squeezes himself in there sometimes.

I tried to get a close up - he's between the chair legs with his head resting on top.

Then he moved in for closer close up.

Moments before I took the pictures Scout had been in the top perch of the cat tree. I put up a new bird bath outside and they watch it by the hour.

I don't know HOW cats can squeze into some places...and sleep there to boot! Im convinced cats don't have bones, they just present that illusion...

Ripley is a very handsome boy indeed. Is he part or full Maine coon?

He's part Maine Coon. His mother was a solid white Maine Coon and his dad... a mystery. He weighs in at almost 18 pounds right now - down from his heavier days. The vet would like to see him down to 16.5 - 17.

Love the sunroom and Ripley pictures Lori! What I also notice is how similar Rip and Dylan's facial expressions are - must be those big round green eyes? I think it as Twink who said he reminded her of her grandma!! Something about a wise look.
Anyway - I really enjoyed these pictures. I don't know he fits under there either!!

I've always been amazed at what they can squeeze themselves into, also. Although I have to admit, using the chair leg for a head rest was a good idea.

He has such an adorable mug.

Last Winter I left my patio door open about maybe 4" if that and sure enough I watched as Max squeezed his furry body out onto the deck. What's with that??

Kisses to you sweet Ripley. Don't give away your secret.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

I never realized what a big boy Ripley is before! But like all kitty cats, the tighter the space, the happier they are - unless of course its the hooman's bed. then they spread out and demand as much space as they can possibly take up!

Lori I still can't get over how much he and Magoo look alike! It jsut blows me away. You'll have to tell Ripley that he has a "Mini Me" in Kentucky!

    Your back yard is GORGEOUS!

Funny to look at all over again! When our plush kitties squeeze into tight spaces - hubby always rolls his eyes and says they have a "good body image!" Guess Ripley has a good self image - as he should!

I don't know how they do it either but mine love to sleep in small places too. I guess it makes them feel extra secure.

Ripley sure is gorgeous no matter where he decides to sleep.
