Dear life with the furry kind vol. 2: My morning "help"

    Beep beep beep

    "Hey meowwwwwwmmmeeee......."

    beep beep SLAP

    "Meeeooowmeeee..."

    Mumbles "Good morning Remus"

Purr purr "Oh goody, you're up lets play!"

My clothes suddenly become a kitty playhouse. "Doesn't your work shirt look lovely with all this cat hair and all these wrinkles in it? I think its an impurrovement!"

Hooray, I now have more cat hair in my shirt than is currently on the cat. Good boy Remus, good boy.

"Ohh you're off to the bathroom now, can I have a drinky from the sink please please please????"

Big yellow eyes stare at me from on top of the toilet, where he has a FULL water dish (Didn't I just fill that thing a few seconds ago?)

"Ok...here" I get ready while trying to manuver around a cat in the sink.

Out of the bathroom and then....

FOOT ATTACK! "Yowch ow ow hey! No claws!"

"sowwwie meowme...hey is it breakfast time yet?"

Feed the kitty and get ready to go out the door. Seconds before I leave I hear kitty pawsies coming down the hall.

"Don't forget to pet me on the way out! I love morning head scritches!"

"I love ya Remus bum!" Scritch scritch scritch

As I walk out I swear its like he is waving goodbye "Bye meowme, I'll be sure to harrass everyone! See you at luch time!"

I love that darn kitty of mine!

Sounds like a morning zoo with just one kitty! But would you want it any other way?

Nope . He actually wakes me up...don't know how many times I would have just slept through the alarm without that furball to get me moving!

Hee hee, hubby overslept through the alarm this morning. One thing is that Allen is DEMANDING about being fed once you're up - he doesn't wake you up for food. So we overslept by nearly an hour, and no sooner did hubby sit up in shock did Allen start his meeeeoooooowing for food.

I admit Barbara my inspiration latley has been Remus! I don't know what it is about that cat but boy he is just...well the greatest!

Catnaper, I have to put exra food in Remus' dish on the weekends (He won't eat everything in his dish at once) so he doesn't wake me at 6:30! If he wakes up in the morning and his dish is empty, I hear about it! That cat is more reliable than my clock lol
