K&L in DAYTON! *20 pictures* in several posts

Yippie!!! Kevin, Lisa and the girls arrived to a sunny and beautiful Ohio - late afternoon. As everyone says - I took an instant love to this family and was thrilled to have them over - it felt like we were friends already.
Here, Lisa and I posed for a picture - me looking like a dork but I told Lisa I was trying to stand in such a way as to look the least plump as possible.

The 3 youngest girls (adorable!!) munched awhile and the adults and oldest granddaughter yakked...

Ice Princess Lizzie was happy to have scritches from Kevin..

Lisa petted Robbie and Dylan out on the patio room...

The girls played with the kittens quite a bit - Lizzie & Robbie really hogged their attention!

More talking out in the patio room - sorry but the sun was not behaving!!

I loved visiting with Lisa!!

Toured the house just a bit..

I am sorry I do not remember names but this granddaughter was so patient! She made a friend out of Emily by rubbing her belly - and Emily was NOT being friendly to anyone as she was still mad at me for the nail clipping earlier!

Eliot, who is rarely seen by anyone but us - crept down the hall and SOOO wanted to come out!!

...and a bit closer...

So, the same little sweetheart who had captivated Emily, decided to make a friend out of Eliot too! She patiently and quietly waited at the end of the hall...

The picture was too dark!!!...but after a time...Eliot DID come to greet her!!! Nobody saw this but Dennis and she is the only one able to lure Eliot into confidence. But, hopefully they did not feel badly because nobody outside of the family believes that he exists!!

The girls were SOOO sweet with the kitties and the kitties loved them back...here with our girl-kitties...

then Dylan and Robbie..

As usual - Dylan roamed and supervised everything - here Kevin is talking in the family room...

We ran out of treats but Robbie was handfed with regular food by this sweetie...

And finally - too soon...the Doyle's climbed into their SUV and drove off into the sunset...headed for Cincy to visit Cataholic!!


I LOVED the visit and found Lisa, Kevin and the girls to be delightful! Meeting PT folks is always a treat and this was no exception. I feel happy and blessed that they made time in their busy trip to stop by. I hope all of you enjoyed sharing in our visit as well.

Well, its about time!

Great pictures!!! You got so many more than I did. I just couldn't shut up long enough to take pictures. Kevin and Lisa are so easy to chat with and they do feel like old friends. I should have thought to give hubby the camera but I didn't.

The girls are very very good with kitties, but what do you expect from their grandchildren? They are so cute too!

So Eliot made an appearance? WOW!!! Some of mine didn't but the girls were so good that Pete actually came into the room with them! You know they are cat people when certain things like that happen.

I'm so glad you got to visit and had as much fun with them as we did. I knew you would!

Were they heading to the airport after leaving Johanna's or were they coming back to Lexington? I can't remember the details because they had so much planned!

Oh my!!! The things we discussed about Jen, Kim and Lisa!! But, I am sworn to secrecy and cannot reveal any of it. Were your ears burning??? (they should have been....) I couldn't possibly repeat half of it Oh MY!!!

Lisa - they are flying home tomorrow (Monday)

What a FUN visit!! I love having people in my home - and can't have it better than family and PT- Family

KLC and CCL - I would never have remembered pictures!! I gave Dennis the camera - only forgot to take any with HIM in them
